NEW YORK – SEPTEMBER 15-19
This September marks the first edition of Asti Week in New York City—an exciting new initiative celebrating the elegance and versatility of Asti Spumante and Moscato d’Asti, two iconic sparkling wines from Piedmont, Italy.
Often reserved for dessert, these wines offer so much more. Asti Spumante, a fully sparkling wine, is known for its lively bubbles and fragrant notes of pear, acacia, and white flowers—perfect as an aperitivo or paired with savory fare. Moscato d’Asti, lower in alcohol and gently fizzy, offers a delicate sweetness with aromas of peach, sage, and orange blossom, and pairs beautifully with spicy dishes, salty cheeses, and even umami-rich foods.
From September 15 to 19, fifteen of New York’s most beloved restaurants will delight guests with a glass of Asti Spumante or a cocktail featuring it, along with a specially paired dish with Moscato d’Asti on the menu The goal is to build greater awareness of the denomination and highlight how these wines can enhance a variety of dining moments—not just dessert.
Celebrate the debut of Asti Week, learn more about the Asti DOCG appellation and discover how these iconic bubbles can surprise, delight, and elevate any occasion.
