Terrone is a tribute to the authentic cuisine and traditional flavors of Southern Italy, offering a culinary experience that leads directly to the discovery of southern roots and traditions. The name “Terrone” was historically used by inhabitants of northern Italy to refer to those from the south, who were dedicated to working the land (“terra”). While the term was once used derogatorily, it has since been embraced by Southern Italians themselves, reclaiming it as a symbol of pride in their agricultural heritage.
In line with the philosophy of longevity, Terrone’s menu is crafted from simple ingredients reworked by talented chefs, following the Mediterranean diet with almost exclusively Italian organic ingredients. This approach aligns with the dietary habits of regions known as “Blue Zones,” areas where people live longer, healthier lives.
